EXCAVATION IN ORDINARY SOIL

Excavation work by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

EXCAVATION IN HARD SOIL

Excavation in hard / dense soil or murum with pickaxe & crowbar, including disposal.

EARTH FILLING & COMPACTION

Filling with approved earth in layers of 15 cm, watering & compaction with roller.

BACKFILLING IN FOUNDATION

Backfilling in foundation trenches with excavated or imported earth, including compaction.

CARTING / DISPOSAL OF EARTH

Transporting surplus excavated earth up to 5 km lead by mechanical means.
